Option Battery Slice Configuration Table 8. POST Behavior Option Adapter Warnings Mouse/Touchpad Numlock Enable Fn Key Emulation Keyboard Errors POST Hotkeys Fastboot Description • Custom Charge - you can set the percentage to which the battery must charge. NOTE: All charging modes may not be available for all the batteries. Allows you to define the how to charge the battery. The options are: • Standard Charge • Express Charge (Default Setting) Description Allows you to activate the adapter warning messages when certain power adapters are used. This option is enabled by default. • Enable Adapter Warnings Allows you to define how the computer handles the mouse and touchpad input. The options are: • Serial Mouse • PS2 Mouse • Touchpad/PS-2 Mouse (Default Setting) Specifies if the NumLock function can be enabled when the computer boots. This option is enabled by default. • Enable Numlock Allows you to match the key feature of PS-2 keyboard with the key feature in an internal keyboard. The option is enabled by default. • Enable Fn Key Emulation Specifies whether keyboard-related errors are reported when it boots. This option is enabled by default. • Enable Keyboard Error Detection Specifies whether the sign-on screen displays a message, that displays the keystroke sequence required to enter the BIOS Boot Option Menu. • Enable F12 Boot Option menu - This option is enabled by default. Allows you to speed up the boot processes. The options are: • Minimal • Thorough (Default Setting) • Auto 70
