The interface does not provide backup service for the virtual IP address until you activate the VRRP configuration. Configuration examples

The

activate

command activates the virtual router configuration on this interface.

The interface

does not provide backup service for the virtual IP address until you activate the VRRP

configuration.

Syntax:
