The current state of the BFD session. Up Down A.DOWN - The administrative down state. INIT - The Init state. UNKNOWN - The current state is unknown. The logical port on which the peer is known. This display shows the following information.

Interface

The logical port (physical or virtual port) on which the peer is known. The

physical port can be either Ethernet or POS.

Holddown

The interval after which the session will transition to the down state if no

message is received.

Interval

The negotiated interval at which the local router sends BFD messages to the

remote peer.
