Hard Drive Boards Removing a 2.5-inch Hard Drive Board CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product. 1 Remove the hard disks. See "Hard Drives" on page 109. 2 Disconnect the four SATA cables between the hard drive board and the system board. Figure 3-21.
