Insert the hard drive into the hard-drive carrier with the drive's controller board's connector end of the drive at the back of the carrier. 2. From the back of the carrier, slide the drive into the carrier. 3. Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the holes on the hard-drive carrier. CAUTION: To avoid damaging the drive or the carrier, do not overtighten the screws. 4. Attach the four screws to secure the hard drive to the hard-drive carrier. Installing A Hard Drive In A Hard-Drive Carrier
1.
Insert the hard drive into the hard-drive carrier with the drive’s controller board’s connector end of the drive at the
back of the carrier.
2.
From the back of the carrier, slide the drive into the carrier.
3.
Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the holes on the hard-drive carrier.
CAUTION: To avoid damaging the drive or the carrier, do not overtighten the screws.
4.
Attach the four screws to secure the hard drive to the hard-drive carrier.
