Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals. Locate the connectors J_SATA A and J_SATA B on the system board. 4. Connect the J_SATA A and J_SATA B connectors on the AHCI devices to the corresponding cable connectors on the backplane using the SATA cables. NOTE: The first AHCI device provides connectivity to the drives available on port 0-5 and the second AHCI device provides connectivity to the drives available on port 6-13.
