3 Prepare to configure the Management switch and networks This chapter includes the following information. Topics: • Reserve network resources for initial deployment • Complete the required fields in the Initial Configuration Worksheet Reserve network resources for initial deployment Work with your network administrator to complete the following two worksheets to reserve the necessary resources for initial deployment of the PowerStore T model appliance. For details about the requirements and network resources you will be using to deploy a PowerStore T model appliance see Switch and network requirements for initial deployment. If you will be configuring Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches for additional protocols and services after initial deployment, you may also want to reserve the necessary resources to configure the ToR switches now. See Storage Network Preparation Worksheet. Once completed, the Management Network Preparation Worksheet will have a list of the resources required to configure the Management switch for initial deployment of your PowerStore T model appliance.
