Installing the intrusion switch 1. Place the intrusion switch module into the slot in the front system fan assembly. 2. To secure the intrusion switch module to the front system fan chassis, replace the single screw on the module. 3. Route the intrusion switch cables through the clip on the chassis. 4. Connect the intrusion switch cable to the system board. 5. Push the bottom intrusion switch cable down toward the bottom chassis. 6. Replace the following components: a) PCIe graphics card holder b) air shroud c) side cover 7. Remove the right side cover. 8. Pull the intrusion switch cable up from the top chassis. 9. Insert and slide the intrusion switch into the slot in the chassis to secure it. 10. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer. Installing the intrusion switch
1.
Place the intrusion switch module into the slot in the front system fan assembly.
2.
To secure the intrusion switch module to the front system fan chassis, replace the single screw on the module.
3.
Route the intrusion switch cables through the clip on the chassis.
4.
Connect the intrusion switch cable to the system board.
5.
Push the bottom intrusion switch cable down toward the bottom chassis.
6.
Replace the following components:
a)
PCIe graphics card holder
b)
air shroud
c)
side cover
7.
Remove the
right side cover
.
8.
Pull the intrusion switch cable up from the top chassis.
9.
Insert and slide the intrusion switch into the slot in the chassis to secure it.
