2. Remove the: a) side cover b) air shroud 3. To remove the heat sink: a) Remove the four heat sink screws [1], in the diagonal order (4, 3, 2, 1). b) Lift the heat sink away from the CPU slot on the system board. Remove the:
a)
side cover
b)
air shroud

To remove the heat sink:
a)
Remove the four heat sink screws [1], in the diagonal order (4, 3, 2, 1).
b)
Lift the heat sink away from the CPU slot on the system board.
CAUTION:
CPU will be removed with the heat sink.
Installing the processor heat sink module
1.
Place the heat sink on the CPU slot.
2.
Replace the four screws in the diagonal order (1,2,3,4), to secure the heat sink to the system board.

Install the:
a)
air shroud
b)
side cover
