CAUTION: For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The oils in your skin can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease. Procedure 1 Align the captive screws on the processor heat-sink with the screw holes on the system board. 2 In sequential order (indicated on the processor heat-sink), tighten the captive screws that secure the processor heat-sink to the system board. 3 Replace the screw (M3X4) that secures the processor heat-sink fan to the middle frame. Post-requisites 1 Replace the system-board shield. 2 Replace the back cover. 3 Replace the USB dongle-bay cover. 45

Procedure
1
Align the captive screws on the processor heat-sink with the screw holes on the
system board.
2
In sequential order (indicated on the processor heat-sink), tighten the captive
screws that secure the processor heat-sink to the system board.
3
Replace the screw (M3X4) that secures the processor heat-sink fan to the
middle frame.
Post-requisites
