CONTRAST (-6 to +6): Adjusts the contrast between bright and dark parts of the picture. BRIGHTNESS (0 to +12): Adjusts the picture's brightness. SHARPNESS (-6 to +6): Adjusts the picture's contours. HUE (-6 to +6): Adjusts the balance between green and red. (This setting does not affect progressive scan outputs.) • With progressive images (D terminal), the sharpness and gamma correction can be adjusted and stored in the memory. SHARPNESS (-5 to +7): Stresses the outlines of the image. GAMMA (-6 to +6): Select this if the dark parts of images are obscure or the bright parts are brighter than necessary.
