20 CONTROLS AND SETTINGS External Water Dispenser Control Display 2 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 Replace Water Filter Display illuminates every 6 months or when filter needs replacing. Replace the filter then press and hold the WATER FILTER button on the side door control display for 3 seconds to deactivate the warning on the external display. See Replacing the Filter for more information. 2 Door Open Alert indicates the door has been open for 5 minutes or more. The DOOR OPEN LED illuminates and the audible alert sounds until the door is closed. The audible alert can be turned off by pressing DOOR OPEN or closing the door. The interior light turns off If the door is open for 5 minutes. display for 3 seconds to deactivate the warning on the external display. See Replacing the Filter for more information. 6 Power Outage The power outage alert illuminates In the event of a power outage. A tone sounds once power is restored. Press any button to silence the tone. 7 Water Press the Water key to dispense water. The indicator light illuminates above the active feature. 8 Cube Press the Cube key to dispense cubed ice. The indicator light illuminates above the active feature. 3 Lock Controls Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable or disable the display lock. While in the locked state, no changes can be made to settings on the display and dispensing ice and water are disabled. 9 Crush Press the Crush key to dispense crushed ice. The indicator light illuminates above the active feature. 10 Light Toggles dispenser light On and Off. 4 High Temp Alarm An alarm sounds in the event of a high temperature condition. The alarm sounds every 10 seconds until acknowledged. Touch any key or open Clear Alerts a door to silence the alarm. Flapper (Dispenser Models Only) 5 Replace Air Filters Display illuminates every 6 months or when filter needs replacing. Replace the filter and then press and hold the AIR FILTERS button on the side door control When "CUBE" or "CRUSH" is selected, if the flapper (or ice chute door) is being held open by a jammed ice cube, an alarm will sound and the current selection will blink on the dispenser control. The alarm will reset when the ice cube is removed.
