122 | Maintaining and Transporting the Printer Note: If the name of your printer remains in the Print Center or Printer Setup Utility after you uninstall the driver, select it from the Printer List and click Delete. Tip: Check the Epson Pro Imaging website at www.proimaging.epson. com for updated drivers and utilities that may become available. 5. Double-click the Installer icon. If the Authenticate dialog box appears, enter your password or phrase and click OK. 6. When the EPSON_IJ_Printer window appears, select Uninstall from the drop-down menu at the top and click the Uninstall button at the bottom right. 7. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the printer software. 8. Drag the following items into the Trash, if you see them: • The EPSON LFP Remote Panel folder in the Applications folder • The EPSON LFP Remote Panel icon on the desktop 9. To reinstall your printer software, restart your Macintosh. Then, if you're using the USB interface, follow the instructions on your Start Here sheet to install the software. If you're using the Ethernet interface, follow the instructions on page 21. Windows Vista 1. If you are using the USB interface, turn off your printer and disconnect the USB cable from your computer. 2. Click and Control Panel, and click Uninstall a Program under Programs. 3. Select EPSON Printer Software. 4. Click the Uninstall/Change button, then click Continue in the User Account Control window. 5. Select the EPSON Stylus Pro 4880 and click OK. 6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete uninstallation. 7. When you return to the Uninstall or change a program window, select EPSON LFP Remote Panel. 8. Click the Uninstall/Change button, then click Continue in the User Account Control window. 122
