Commands Arranged by Topic ESC D Format: ASCII code: Decimal: Hexadecimal: Set Horizontal Tabs ESC D n1 n2 ... 0 27 68 n1 n2 ... 0 1B 44 n1 n2 ... 00 Comments: This command allows setting of up to 32 horizontal tabs, which are entered as n1, n2, n3, etc. (from 1 to 255) with the number 0 terminating the command. The tab settings must be entered in ascending order. ESC D 0 clears all tabs. The default settings, when power is turned on or after an ESC @ command, are at every eight characters. The tab settings are not affected by changes in cpi. The tab positions in proportional printing are determined by the 10 cpi character size.
