4. Make sure the end of the tape slides into the ejection slot. Turning the printer on and off Make sure the AC adapter is connected or batteries are installed. ■ Press the P power button to turn on the printer. 5. Close the tape cover. To remove a tape cartridge, open the cover, grasp the sides of the tape, then lift it out of the printer. The display lights up. ■ When you are finished using the printer, press the P power button to turn it off. You see a Powering Off message on the display. The display lights up.
When you are finished using the printer,
