Problem GPS Charging Waterproofing performance Accessories Troubleshooting The product cannot receive a GPS signal. Signals from the GPS are hard to receive or are interrupted. The product does not charge even when it is placed in the cradle. Charging stops frequently. The charge error screen is displayed. The product and the cradle become hot while charging. Can I use the product when swimming? The inside of the glass becomes cloudy. Acquiring optional products. Solution Go to a location outside with no obstructions overhead. The product cannot receive GPS signals indoors. Also, if there are any obstacles partially blocking the sky, such as tall buildings and mountain sides, distance measurements may not be accurate. Even when a signal is being received, it may be interrupted depending on the running environment. Make sure to wear the product on the outside of your arm. Make sure the product is seated correctly in the cradle. Clean the contact points on the product and the cradle. See "Caring for your product" on page 86. A problem may have occurred if you still cannot charge your product after cleaning the contact points and seating the product correctly in the cradle. Stop charging the product immediately and contact Epson. Charge in an environment where the surrounding temperature is 41 to 95°F (5 to 35°C). There may be a malfunction. Stop using the product immediately and contact Epson support. This product is water resistant at 5 barometric pressures (5 ATM) and can be used when swimming. Do not press the buttons while in the water. GPS signals cannot be received under water. Do not swim while wearing the optional heart rate chest strap. Condensation may occur in the product due to differences in temperature between the product and the air. Temporary condensation does not have any effect on the product. You can continue to use the product in this condition. If the condensation remains for a long time, water may have entered the product. Contact Epson support. GPS
The product cannot receive a GPS
signal.
Go to a location outside with no obstructions overhead.
The product cannot receive GPS signals indoors. Also, if
there are any obstacles partially blocking the sky, such as
tall buildings and mountain sides, distance
measurements may not be accurate.

Charging
The product does not charge even

Make sure the product is seated correctly in the cradle.
Clean the contact points on the product and the cradle.
