Troubleshooting Problem Heart Rate Monitor Communication Web application The heart rate monitor is not working correctly. The product is not recognized correctly when it is connected to a computer. When communicating with a computer, an error screen is displayed and communication stops. Solution Check the following items. O Make sure you are wearing the heart rate chest strap correctly. See "Wearing the heart rate chest strap" on page 63. O Check that he heart rate chest strap been registered to the device. See "Pairing the heart rate chest strap" on page 64. O Make sure the HR option set to ON. See "Enabling heart rate monitoring" on page 65. O Try resetting the heart rate chest strap. To reset the heart rate chest strap, place the battery in the battery compartment so that the negative side is facing up, and leave it for three seconds. O Replace the battery. See "Replacing the heart rate chest strap battery" on page 68. O Perform a system reset for the product. See "Resetting the product" on page 93. Check the connection for the computer and the cradle. Clean the contact points on the product and the cradle. See "Caring for your product" on page 86. Perform a system reset. See "Resetting the product" on page 93. Do not move the product and the cradle during communication. Avoid communicating data under environments where static electricity can be easily generated. Heart Rate Monitor
The heart rate monitor is not
working correctly.
Check the following items.
O
Make sure you are wearing the heart rate chest strap
correctly.

Check that he heart rate chest strap been registered
to the device.

Make sure the HR option set to
