Starting up and Shutting down the Printer Starting up and Shutting down the Printer Starting up the Printer Click Pre-operation Check on the Client PC to start the printer. In Pre-operation Check, the printer starts after the items that need to be checked manually have been displayed. When Printer PC is connected to the printer, Printer PC starts automatically. The Power switch on the back of the printer should normally be On (the light is on). If the Power switch is turned off, check that the power cable is inserted in the AC inlet, and then turn on the Power switch (the light turns on). Tip: Normally, you do not need to operate the humidity control unit power switch. See the following for more information on using the humidity control unit. Pre-operation Check
on the Client PC to start the printer.
In Pre-operation Check, the printer starts after the items that need to be checked manually have been displayed.
When Printer PC is connected to the printer, Printer PC starts automatically.
The Power switch on the back of the printer should normally be On (the light is on). If the Power switch is turned
off, check that the power cable is inserted in the AC inlet, and then turn on the Power switch (the light turns on).

You can use one of the following methods to display the pre-operation check screen.

Tip:
Normally, you do not need to operate the humidity control unit power switch.
