When You Suspect a Problem 52 The remote control does not work • Is direct sunlight or strong light from fluorescent lamps shining onto the remote control infrared receiver? • Is the remote control too far from the projector? • When in use, is the remote control infrared transmitter facing the remote control infrared receiver on the projector? • Has the battery insulating tape been removed? • Is the battery dead? • Is the battery inserted correctly? • Is the battery installed? This projector is designed so that the Power indicator remains lit even after the power has been turned off. The Power indicator will switch off when the power cable is disconnected from the electrical outlet. After the [Power] button has been pressed, the cool-down period begins. After this, the Power indicator changes to a steady orange, and you can then disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet. Cool-down lasts for about 20 seconds.
