Using the Internet 4.1 Connecting to the Internet Your phone connects to the Internet via: z Wi-Fi z GPRS / EDGE / 3G / 3.5G If you want to connect to the Internet automatically, you can tap Application Drawer > Settings > Wireless controls > Mobile networks to mark Data enabled. When you connect to the Internet, it may charge you. Wi-Fi Your device can connect to the detected network through Wi-Fi. 1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings to access Wireless controls. 2. Tap to check the Wi-Fi function and turn Wi-Fi on or off. To connect to a Wi-Fi network 1. Turn Wi-Fi on. 2. Tap Wi-Fi settings. The phone scans for Wi-Fi signals. 3. Detected networks are displayed below. Tap a network connection, and then, tap Connect. 4. If you select an unsecured network, the connection is automatically established. Otherwise, proceed to the next step. 5. To connect to a secured connection, you will be prompted for the network key. Enter the key, and then, tap Connect. 4. Using the Internet
4.1 Connecting to the Internet
Your phone connects to the Internet via:
z
Wi-Fi
z
GPRS / EDGE / 3G / 3.5G
If you want to connect to the Internet automatically,
you can tap Application Drawer > Settings >
Wireless controls > Mobile networks to mark Data
enabled. When you connect to the Internet, it may
charge you.
Wi-Fi
Your device can connect to the detected network
through Wi-Fi.
1. Tap Application Drawer > Settings to access
Wireless controls.
2. Tap to check the Wi-Fi function and turn Wi-Fi
on or off.
To connect to a Wi-Fi network
1. Turn Wi-Fi on.
2. Tap Wi-Fi settings. The phone scans for Wi-Fi
signals.
3. Detected networks are displayed below. Tap a
network connection, and then, tap Connect.
4. If you select an unsecured network, the
