2-2-1 Node List Node List provides the function of List all system, List all node, Sort by differnet, and Search function of current remote client system. Node list Parameter Select BMC MAC BMC IP BMC Connection Node Type iKVM Description Decription/Resulting Action Check Select box to configure connected nodes in the same group. Displays the connected Node BMC MACaddress information. Displays the Node BMC IP address. Click on selected IP to view the Node dashboard information and Node remote management functions. The Node remote management function is descriped in section 2-2-1 Dashboard. Displays the Node BMC connection status. Displays the Node type information. There are three type of Node management: • BMC: Baseboard management controller, which gives a user or administrator the ability to control a remote system and the ability to perform a variety of functions. With BMC, data only transmitted in the local network area. • CMC: Chassis Management Controller, which provides function for managing multiple server chassis. CMC is higher level control and monitoring of one or multiple chassis. • RMC: Remote Management Controller. Similar with BMC, RMC provides LAN-based system console access as wellas remote system management functions. RMC provides out-of-the-band functions and giving you complete access to your server from any location via a web browser. Provides iKVM function for specified system.
