69 70 71 72 Close the ink cartridge door. 73 Wait (about a minute) until you see this front panel message. Open the printer window. 74 75 Remove the packing tape that is holding down the printhead carriage latch. 76 Pull up and release the latch on top of the carriage assembly. Lift up the cover. This will give you access to the setup printheads. Before removing the setup printheads, look at the window on top of each one and check that the printhead contains ink. To remove a setup printhead, lift up the blue handle.

Close the ink cartridge door.
Wait (about a minute) until you see this front
panel message.
Open the printer window.

To remove a setup printhead, lift up the blue
handle.
Pull up and release the latch on top of the
carriage assembly.
Lift up the cover. This will give you access to the
setup printheads.
Before removing the setup printheads, look at
the window on top of each one and check that
the printhead contains ink.
