In the Firmware Update Scope section, select the type of upgrade: • Partition - for the current partition • Complex - for the whole complex • Partition+ - for the current partition plus unassigned cells NOTE: HP does not support the use of Partition or Partition+ for mid-range systems. 6. Click Continue. The Package installability check window appears, displaying status information. No action is necessary. This window closes and another Package installability check window appears as shown in Figure 2-5. This window displays the firmware versions on the system as compared to those in the package and any errors that prevent the upgrade, which you must resolve before continuing. If you select complex and firmware that is the same as on the system, then you are prompted to reinstall. If you select to reinstall, the Package installability check dialog box displays a message about removing power, followed by a power cycle confirmation box.
