Sending documents The digital sender uses the HP Digital Sending Software (HP DSS) to send scanned documents directly to several types of destinations. Logging in When you walk up to the digital sender, you will see the following "home" screen. The options displayed are the digital-sending options that have been enabled by your system administrator. The system administrator can configure the device to require a username and password in order to use some or all of the digital-sender features. If you try to use a feature that requires authentication, a Login screen like the one in the following figure appears. Touch the Username and Password buttons and type your network login information to continue. Contact your system administrator if you are unsure of what to use. ENWW Different login information is required for different network configurations: ● Windows networking systems: Username, Password, Domain ● Novel Bindery: Username, Password, Server ● Novell NDS: Username, Password, Tree, Context After you have logged in, a LOG OUT button appears on the home screen of the control panel. Touch this button, or press the RESET button on the control panel, to log out when you have finished your job. You are also automatically logged out after a period of inactivity. The default timeout setting is 60 seconds. The system administrator can change this setting. Sending documents
The digital sender uses the HP Digital Sending Software (HP DSS) to send scanned
documents directly to several types of destinations.
Logging in
When you walk up to the digital sender, you will see the following "home" screen. The
options displayed are the digital-sending options that have been enabled by your system
administrator.
The system administrator can configure the device to require a username and password in
order to use some or all of the digital-sender features. If you try to use a feature that requires
