Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.5 screw, Remove the battery

Remove the battery: 1. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board. 2. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.5 screw (1) that secures the battery to the base enclosure. 3. Lift the left side of the battery (2) until the battery is clear of the alignment post (3) in the middle of the battery. 4. Release the battery (4) by sliding it to the left. Remove the battery:
1.
Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
2.
Remove the Phillips PM2.5×4.5 screw

that secures the battery to the base enclosure.
3.
Lift the left side of the battery

4.
Release the battery

by sliding it to the left.
