Release Notes for the Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP, Cisco IOS Release 12.2(50)SE and Later Revised August 13, 2009 Cisco IOS Release 12.2(50)SE and later runs on the Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP, referred to as the switch. Unless otherwise noted, the term switch refers to a standalone switch. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps8743/prod_release_notes_list.html Note If you wish to use Device Manager to upgrade the switch from Cisco IOS Release 12.2(35)SE through Cisco IOS Release 12.2(40)SE1 (the LAN Base image) to Cisco IOS Release 12.2(50)SE or later (the IP base image), you must first upgrade to Cisco IOS Release 12.2(40)SE2. These release notes include important information about Cisco IOS Release 12.2(50)SE and any limitations, restrictions, and caveats that apply to them. Verify that these release notes are correct for your switch: • If you are installing a new switch, see the Cisco IOS release label on the switch packaging. • If your switch is on, use the show version privileged EXEC command. See the "Finding the Software Version and Feature Set" section on page 3. • If you are upgrading to a new release, see the software upgrade filename for the software version.
