Touchpad cable, Before removing the touchpad cable, follow these steps

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 48). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 48). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50). 4. Remove the fingerprint reader cable (see Fingerprint reader cable on page 64). Remove the fingerprint reader: 1. Detach the fingerprint reader extension cable (1) from the computer. The fingerprint reader extension cable is attached to the computer with double-sided tape. 2. Remove the four Phillips M1.0 × 1.7 screws (2) that secure the fingerprint reader to the computer. 3. Remove the fingerprint reader (3) and extension cable. To install the fingerprint reader, reverse this procedure. Touchpad cable To remove the touchpad cable, use this procedure and illustration. NOTE: The touchpad cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number tbd-001. Before removing the touchpad cable, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 48). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 48). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50). Remove the touchpad cable: 1.
