Transfer board cable, The transfer board cable is included in the Cable Kit

1. Detach the NFC antenna cable (1) from the computer. The NFC antenna cable is attached to the computer with double-sided adhesive. 2. Release the ZIF connector (2) the NFC antenna cable is connected to, and then disconnect the NFC antenna cable from the NFC module. 3. Release the ZIF connector (3) the keyboard cable is connected to, and then disconnect the keyboard cable from the transfer board. 4. Fold back the keyboard cable (4) to allow access to the touchpad screws. 5. Remove the three Phillips PM2.0 × 2.3 broadhead screws (5) that secure the touchpad to the computer. 6. Lift the rear edge of the touchpad (6) until it rests an angle. 7. Remove the touchpad (7) by sliding it up and back at an angle. To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure. Transfer board cable To remove the transfer board cable, use this procedure and illustration. NOTE: The transfer board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number tbd-001. Before removing the transfer board cable, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 48). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 48). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50). Remove the transfer board cable: 1. Detach the NFC antenna cable
(1)
from the computer. The NFC antenna cable is attached to the
computer with double-sided adhesive.
2.
Release the ZIF connector
(2)
the NFC antenna cable is connected to, and then disconnect the NFC
antenna cable from the NFC module.
3.
Release the ZIF connector
(3)
the keyboard cable is connected to, and then disconnect the
keyboard cable from the transfer board.
4.
Fold back the keyboard cable
(4)
to allow access to the touchpad screws.
5.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.0 × 2.3 broadhead screws
(5)
that secure the touchpad to the
computer.
6.
Lift the rear edge of the touchpad
(6)
until it rests an angle.
7.
Remove the touchpad
(7)
by sliding it up and back at an angle.
To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure.

Remove the transfer board cable:

Release the ZIF connector
