5. Disconnect the keyboard cable (1) and the touchpad cable (2) from the system board. 6. Remove the top cover from the computer. Disconnect the hard drive connector cable (1) from the hard drive. b. Flex the sides of the bracket to remove the pegs from the holes in the hard drive (2). c.
