Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 34), and then remove the following components: ▲ Battery(see Battery on page 35). Remove the fingerprint reader: 1. Remove 1 M2*2-I screw (1), and then lift the fingerprint reader cover to remove it (2). 2. Lift the fingerprint reader to remove it (2).
