Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 34), and then remove the following components: ▲ Battery(see Battery on page 35). Remove the NFC module: 1. Disconnect the NFC cable (1), and then disconnect the NFC module from the TouchPad (2). 2. Lift the NFC module to remove it (3). Reverse this procedure to install the NFC module. IMPORTANT:

replacement
Before removing the NFC module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by
first
unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the base enclosure (see
Base enclosure
on page
34
), and then remove the following
components:

Remove the NFC module:
1.
Disconnect the NFC cable
