4. Lift the system board (3) out of the computer. Reverse this procedure to install the system board. Power button board Component Power button board (includes cable) Spare part number 788605-001 Before replacing the power button board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 25). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33). 6. Remove the heat sink and fans (see Heat sink and fans on page 31). 7. Remove the system board (see System board on page 36). Remove the power button board: 1.
