4. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 32). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34), and then remove the following components: a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 39). b. SSD (see SSD (M.2) on page 41). c. Fans (see Fans on page 48). NOTE: When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board: ● Heat sink for hybrid graphics (see Heat sink for hybrid graphics memory on page 49). ● Heat sink for CPU and graphics (see Heat sink for CPU and graphics on page 50). ● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 44) ● Memory module (see Memory on page 42) ● RTC battery (see RTC battery on page 55) Remove the system board: 1.
