Description For use only with computer models equipped with an AMD A8/A6/A4 processor and a graphics subsystem with UMA memory For use only with computer models equipped with an AMD A10 processor and a graphics subsystem with UMA memory Spare part number 806759-001 809104-001 IMPORTANT: Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal and replacement. Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 31), and then remove the following components: a. Optical drive (see DVD±RW Double-Layer SuperMulti Drive on page 32). b. Bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). Remove the heat sink: 1. Loosen the six Phillips PM2×4 captive screws (1) that secure the heat sink to the system board. CAUTION: Screws should be loosened in the order embossed on the heat sink plates. Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:

4.

Remove the heat sink:
1.
