Power connector cable Description Power connector cable Spare part number 806746-001 Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 31), and then remove the following components: a. Optical drive (see DVD±RW Double-Layer SuperMulti Drive on page 32). b. Bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). c. Display assembly (see Removing the display on page 55). d. Speakers (see Speakers on page 57). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Disconnect power connector cable (1). 2. Remove the cable from the bottom cover clips (2). 3. Lift the power connector from the bottom cover (3). Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:

Disconnect power connector cable

Remove the cable from the bottom cover clips

Lift the power connector from the bottom cover
