Connector board cable Description Connector board cable Spare part number L01846-001 Before removing the connector board cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31), and then remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 33) b. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 37) c. Fan (see Fan on page 46) d. System board (see System board on page 48) Remove the connector board cable: 1. Turn the system board upside down with the front toward you. 2. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which connector board cable is connected, and then disconnect the connector board cable (2) from the system board. Before removing the connector board cable, follow these steps:
1.

1.
Turn the system board upside down with the front toward you.
2.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which connector board cable is connected, and then disconnect
the connector board cable
(2)
from the system board.
Reverse this procedure to install the connector board cable.
