USB board Description USB board (includes cable) Spare part number 726204-001 Before removing the USB board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30). 5. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 31). 6. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 33). Remove the USB board: 1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the USB cable is attached, and then disconnect the USB cable from the system board. 2. Remove Phillips PM2.5×5.6 screw (2) that secures the USB board to the base enclosure. 3. Remove the USB board (3) and cable. Reverse this procedure to install the USB board.
