Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30). 5. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 31). 6. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 33). Remove the display assembly: 1. Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the system board. 2. Release the display panel cable from the clips (2) and routing channel built into the base enclosure. 3. Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:
1.

Remove the display assembly:
1.
Disconnect the display panel cable

from the system board.
2.
Release the display panel cable from the clips

and routing channel built into the
base enclosure.
3.
Disconnect the wireless antenna cables
(3)
from the WLAN module.
