Media Button Hardware Component Description Media button If QuickPlay is installed, opens QuickPlay to start a CD in the optical drive or a music file on the hard drive. If QuickPlay is not installed and the computer is ■ On, Opens the default media player to start a CD in the optical drive or a music file on the hard drive. ■ Off or in hibernation, no function. *The function of the media button in Windows can be changed.
