Keyboard base power connector cable Description Keyboard base power connector cable Spare part number 766608-001 Before removing the keyboard base power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the tablet. 4. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base. 5. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 64), and then remove the following components: a. Keyboard battery (see Keyboard battery on page 65) b. Keyboard plate (see Keyboard plate on page 67) c. Keyboard I/O board (see Keyboard base I/O board on page 73). Remove the keyboard base power connector cable: 1. Remove the Philllips PM1.5×3.5 screw (1) that secures the keyboard base power connector cable to the top cover. 2. Remove the keyboard base power connector cable (2). Before removing the keyboard base power connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and
then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.
4.
Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.
5.
Remove the bottom cover (see

), and then remove the following components:
a.
Keyboard battery (see

b.
Keyboard plate (see

)
c.
Keyboard I/O board (see
Keyboard base I/O board

).
Remove the keyboard base power connector cable:
1.
Remove the Philllips PM1.5×3.5 screw
(1)
that secures the keyboard base power connector cable to the
top cover.
2.
Remove the keyboard base power connector cable
(2)
.
Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard base power connector cable.
