Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-33 After replacing the cache accelerator, complete the following steps to clear the cache accelerator POST Error 220: 1. Reboot the server and press F9 to enter the ROM-based System Configuration Utility. 2. Once in the utility, select Advanced Options. 3. Select Set Cache Accelerator Corrected. 4. Select the slot, either 1 or 2, that has been corrected. 5. Press ESC twice, and then press F10 to save. The bit in NVRAM is cleared at this point. If the cache accelerator replacement has been successful, POST Error 220 should no longer appear at reboot. Processor Board The processor board is located at the bottom of the processor and memory module and should not be removed. If there is a need to replace the processor board, a new processor module with system board must be ordered. The new processor board will be attached to the bottom of the module, along with processor guide rails.
