Configure Ethernet Events An Ethernet event occurs when the Ethernet link between the HAFM server and the managed product is dropped. You can configure Ethernet events for all managed products and set a specific time interval for an event to be generated after the communication drops. 1. Choose Maintenance > Configure Ethernet Events. The Configure Ethernet Events dialog box displays (Figure 35). Figure 35: Configure Ethernet Events dialog box 2. To enable Ethernet events, click the Enable ethernet events check box. 3. To change the default timeout of 30 minutes, enter a new value in the Ethernet timeout field. The value must be between 10 and 120. 4. Click OK to accept and activate the data. If e-mail notification is also enabled, an e-mail will be sent if the HAFM cannot communicate with a product.
