About This Manual This manual describes the requirements and procedures for connecting the XP family of disk arrays to an SGI system, and configuring the new disk array for operation with the SGI IRIX operating system. Installation of the HP Surestore Disk Array XP is performed by users with administrator privileges and the HP service representative.
