Failover Configuration The disk array supports industry-standard products and functions which provide host failover, application failover, I/O path failover, and logical volume management (LVM). For the SGI IRIX environment, the disk array currently supports the following products and functions (please contact your HP service representative for the latest information): • IRIS FailSafe and SGI Advanced Cluster Environment (ACE) software for application/host failover. • The XLV extended logical volume manager for IRIX. Please contact SGI customer support services for the latest information on failover products and solutions. After disk array configuration is complete, make sure to configure the failover software on the host server(s) as needed to recognize the new devices on the disk array. Failover Configuration

The disk array supports industry-standard products and functions which provide host
