7. Remove the USB flash drive and click OK. 8. Close the HP ThinState window. Use the captured full image on the USB drive to replicate the image on different systems or to restore the original settings to a thin client. To use HP ThinState to deploy a thin client full image: 1. Set the boot order in the F10 System BIOS to USB boot (if necessary). 2. Turn off the thin client. 3. Attach the USB flash drive to the thin client unit onto which you wish to deploy the captured image, and then turn on the unit. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions. After you remove the USB flash drive and cycle power to the system, the image is unbundled. Do not interrupt or cycle power to the unit during this process. You may use the captured image (flash.dd) found in the USB flash drive in combination with Altiris Deployment Solution to remotely image multiple thin client units. NOTE: You must use flash.dd in conjunction with the HP ThinState Deploy utility (e.g., ibr.exe). Flash.dd is not compatible with the Altiris rdeploy.exe or rdeployt.exe utilities.
