Troubleshooting Problem 17 The floppy disk drive cannot be accessed after installing an Adaptec controller. Solution 17 Use SMOR to enable the EBDA Relocation option. Problem 18 The controller's audible alarm is sounding during normal operation. Solution 18 This indicates a drive has failed. Restart the host system and run SMOR to identify the failed drive.
