WARNING Wear protective glasses while cutting the plastic bands around the shipping container. These bands are under tension. When cut, they can spring back and cause serious eye injury. NOTE Position the pallet to allow for enough space to roll the cabinet off the pallet before unpacking. Remove the cabinet using the following procedure: 1. Cut the polystrap bands around the shipping container. 2. Lift the cardboard top cap from the shipping box. See Figure 2-1. 3. Remove the corrugated wrap from the pallet. 4. Unpacking a Racked Server
This section contains information about unpacking the cabinet.
WARNING
Wear protective glasses while cutting the plastic bands around the shipping
container. These bands are under tension. When cut, they can spring back and cause
serious eye injury.
NOTE
Position the pallet to allow for enough space to roll the cabinet off the pallet before unpacking.
Remove the cabinet using the following procedure:
1. Cut the polystrap bands around the shipping container.
2. Lift the cardboard top cap from the shipping box. See Figure 2-1.
3. Remove the corrugated wrap from the pallet.
4. Remove the packing materials.
