S'assurer que le filtre à air et le carburateur sont orientés vers le haut. • Retirer le carter du dispositif d'entraînement. 82 - French PRESENTATION Steps before using a new lawn mower • Please read the operator's manual carefully. • Check that the cutting equipment is correctly fitted and adjusted. See instructions under the heading Assembly. • Fill with fuel and oil in the engine. A container with sufficient oil quantity is supplied with the machine. See the instructions under the heading fuel handling.  WARNING! Under no circumstances may the design of the machine be modified without the permission of the manufacturer. Always use genuine accessories. Non-authorized modifications and/or accessories can result in serious personal injury or the death of the operator or others.  WARNING! A lawn mower is a dangerous tool if used carelessly or incorrectly and can cause serious, even fatal injuries. It is extremely important that you read and understand the contents of this operator's manual.  WARNING! Engine exhaust, some of its constituents, and certain vehicle components contain or emit chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.  WARNING! Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds, chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.  WARNING! This lawn mower is equipped with an internal combustion engine and should not be used on or near any unimproved forest-covered, brush-covered or grass-covered land unless the engine's exhaust system is equipped with a spark arrester meeting applicable local or state laws (if any). If a spark arrester is used, it should be maintained in effective working order by the operator.  WARNING! Long-term inhalation of the engine's exhaust fumes can represent a health hazard.  WARNING! In order to prevent accidental starting when setting up, transporting, adjusting or making repairs, always disconnect spark plug wire and place wire where it can not come in contact with plug. In the state of California the above is required by law (Section 4442 of the California Public Resources Code). Other states may have similar laws. Federal laws apply on federal lands. A spark arrester for the muffler is available through your nearest authorized service center. Steps before using a new lawn
mower
Please read the operator’s manual carefully.
Check that the cutting equipment is correctly fitted
