4) Now you can boot up the proxy server. When you see the network status is Y, it means your registration is OK. You can view the proxy server when the device is online. Important The server IP address can also be domain. But you need to register a domain name before you run proxy device server. 5.3.6 Alarm Please refer to chapter 4.7 Alarm Setup and Activation. 5.3.7 Detect Please refer to chapter 4.6 Detect. 5.3.8 Pan/Tilt/Zoom The pan/tilt/zoom setup includes the following items. Please select channel first. See Figure 5-39. z Protocol: Select corresponding PTZ protocol such as PELCOD. z Address: input corresponding PTZ address. z Baud rate: Select baud rate. z Data bit: Select data bit. z Stop bit: Select stop bit. z Parity: There are three choices: none/odd/even. The value ranges from 128 to 255. z Channel name: Here is for you to modify channel name. System max support 25-digit (The value may vary due to different series). Please note all your modification here only applies to DVR local end. You need to open web or client end to refresh channel name. z Time display: You can select to display time or not when system is playback. z Channel display: You can select to channel name or not when system is playback. 80
