D Receiving an Emergency Call q When an emergency call is received: • Beeps sound. • The calling station ID (or alias) and "EMG EMG" are alternately displayed. • The action of the backlight depends on the Backlight setting in the User set mode. When "OFF Auto" is selected, the backlight turns ON for the specified time period*. * If the Backlight Update setting is "Enable," the preprogrammed time period is enabled. (Auto Backlight Timer) If the Backlight Update setting is "Inhibit," the backlight does not turn ON. The Backlight Update and Auto Backlight Timer functions are usable in transceivers whose revision number is 3.0 or later. Ask your dealer for details.
